Trinidad was Uruguay’s first theater actress. Rebellious, outrageous and transgressive, she fought for women’s rights both personally and professionally. Her first performances were at the Casa de la Comedia [House of Comedy], located where today is the Museo de Artes Decorativas [Museum of Decorative Arts], opposite the window of this cherry colored room.
